It seems these new cordless sanders aren't the bees knees. I have seen many come across in the Festool Reconditioned emails and many more for sale in the classifieds. Just seems odd for a recently released tool.

Ya, I noticed the same thing, for a new product I thought that was unusual.

On a more positive note though, I picked up an ETSC on the Festool Reconditioned website and I'm very happy with it. I've been sanding some blue slate using Granat 80 grit and it works well. Quite surprised really. It seems more powerful than the original 200 watt ETS 125. I think I'll put that one down the road.  [smile]

I'm pleased to the point where I'm thinking about picking up the DTSC and selling my corded 200 watt DTS 400.

I am also very, very pleased with my RTSC.
It is a powerful unit. I also like it with the hose attached. Pure cordless the dust extraction is not the best.

But it goes well and is a pleasure to use in terms of (non)vibration.

I manage a little more than 30-35 minutes.
But as the ad says, load cycle is quicker (TCL6).

Hey Alex, I don't know yet. I've been starting and stopping this project (refacing/veneering cement steps) and every time I stop for over an hour, I just pop the battery back into the charger. [unsure]

I may be sanding a bathroom or sanding a teak table (weather dependent) this weekend and that will be a better test for me to get a base line.
