Coupler to Extend D36 to another D36?

The boom arm comes with a short 1,5m 50mm hose with coupler 50-50mm right? Mine did, as it will extend the extractor end. The larger diameter close to the extractor will aid suction.
Otherwise the newer hoses (2018 - onwards) Can be connected together indefinitely if one wish.

Right, the extractor has a 50mm hose with what I would call a male 50mm connector.  The extractor end of the 36mm hose connects to that.

I want a second 36mm hose to connect to the first, that is the extractor end (50mm female connector) of the extra hose to the tool end of the hose on the boom arm.  As far as I can tell, the newer or older hoses don't allow this.  I would be happy to be wrong about it.

Oh, right. You may have to get a new hose for my suggestion above. As that’s as far as I’ve understood that there’s only the tapered hoses that interconnects. That would be the 32/27 with bayonet fitting on the outside of the tool end. There’s one reduction sleeve available, but I have not tested it.
It could be that part no. 500670 would work. That particular connector has inside bayonet tool end fitting. It will connect to the outside INNER tube of the extractor end. Maybe that older extractor end does not have this inner tube?

I came up with two solutions to connecting two D36 extractor hoses together.

I first got a Festool 500670 Coupling Sleeve D 36 and replaced the extractor fitting on the hose.  This results in a hose with two tool ends.

The first solution was to get a Festool 500593 D36 Replacement Crevice Nozzle.  I cut off the nozzle part, this results in a sleeve that fits inside of the tool ends of the D36 hose.

This works well but reduces the effective size of the hose a little.  A sleeve that the tool end would fit into would be better.  On Amazon, I found a set of uxcell 50mm Straight PVC Pipe Fitting Coupling Adapter Connector .  The inner part (the wider part) of the tool end of D36 hose fits reasonable well into this connector.    The problem was that one connector isn't long enough.  Good thing they were sold in pairs, I was able to glue the two together to make it longer.

This works pretty well.  Would be better if it was Festool green :-)

I hope this is helpful.  The most expensive part was the Festool 500670 at $27, the other parts were about $8 each.

Good idea.
You might source silicon or rubber hoses sold by car accessories shops. These hoses for ie intercoolers might just fit, an if I’m not mistaken, there’s also green ones available along with several other colors - that would be the silicone variant. These hoses are flexible and perfect for connecting suction hoses as well.
