Yeah I still can’t figure out what date they tweaked the design of the TS 55 REQ. Fortunately I’ve sold ~40 and only had to send 3 refunds...morts10n said:I ordered a cover plate from Dusty tools. It didn't fit my Ts 55 or TS 55req. Fell right out. I was issued a refund
What material are you printing these with? In that color I'm guessing PLA?Dusty.Tools said:I have TS 75 plates nowdon4logo said:Apologies if this has been asked, but why no cover plate accessory for the TS 75? I see. And no issues with it melting when left in hot temps? Like outdoors, in direct sunlight on a summer day? Supposedly PLA will start losing its strength around 45C/113F.Dusty.Tools said:Yes PlA,ben_r_ said:What material are you printing these with? Ha! Well thats nice! I was more asking because you are selling them to anyone and most probably dont know about these properties of 3D printed products made using PLA and I was curious if you had gotten any feedback yet describing issues due to heat. Typically products such as these would be made using PETG or ABS.Dusty.Tools said:I live in Seattle so that’s not been a problem for meben_r_ said:I see. No concerns yet but good to know. I could print them in PETG but I don’t know if I can get the same color.ben_r_ said:Ha! Well thats nice! Yea probably not, but IMO a light grey to match the housing color of the saw would look better.Dusty.Tools said:No concerns yet but good to know. I could print them in PETG but I don’t know if I can get the same color.
