For those of you who work on sites without power, I was just wondering if anyone has ever made up a Systainer with a AGM battery and an inverter in it to provide power for limited use? It wouldn't likely do a big job, but might be just the thing for a 'quick fix' or small install? It would be heavy due to the battery, but could be placed on a cart for transport.

Just be sure that you use a deep-cycle AGM battery.  Be sure that you understand whether the tool to be run requires true sine wave AC, and if so, get an inverter that provides true sine wave output, not square wave or modified sine wave.  Also match the output of the inverter to the requirement of the tool (measured in watts).
