Crazy Question...

So here's my crazy question.  I have several hundred thousand American Express Rewards Points.  Is there any way to use them to buy some Festools?  I see that many retailers take them...but couldn't find any Festool products.

I think you can convert them to gift cards. I accept AmEx.

Well, I finally investigated this today.  I can redeem my 500K points for Amex gift cards at the rate of 1.6 points for every 1 cent in gift card value.  However, I can redeem for a Home Depot gift card at the rate of 1 point for every 1 cent.  [eek]  Thing is...I don't need $5K in Home Depot gift cards.  I wonder if the Home Depot special order desk can order me up some Festools?  LOL.

Those home depot cards can come in handy.  I used them to pay my electrician when he upgraded my panel, since he gets his supplies there all the time.  I even made sure he got the rewards points from Acme.  That got him a couple tanks of gas free to boot!
