I recently had the opportunity to use/rent a Domino 500 for a table project. I did one set of mortises' using a scribe mark, which required that I make them a one setting wider, so the table would go together.
For the second set of mortises, I used the Cross Stop (Part # 498 590). This time, every thing went together cleanly & tightly, no having to make the holes wider to get things to fit.
Figuring out how to use the Cross Stop takes a bit of practice, but once I got it down..... It was fast & easy.
