Crosscut sled question

Okay, I got my sled together, but I forgot I want some kind of hold down to hold the piece against the fence while cutting. Any ideas on how to do this? I've seen some with a t-track installed on the base but I already squared up the fence real nice and don't want to remove the fence to route and add the track.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rob

Nothing specific.  Just an all around cross cut sled to cut many different sizes.  I usually just hold the piece in my left had, but sometimes I want to make the cut using both hands on the fence.

thanks,
Rob

If you use a push pull toggle clamp mounted to a block for a track then the track wouldn't have to take the track all the way to the fence. Route the track as close the the fence as your router will allow and I'd bet the right toggle clamp could reach the work piece.

I was thinking about that.  I may rout as close as I can to the fences.  Should be close enough.

Thanks.

I mostly use one or more wedges and/or shims.  I have a number of wedges and shims stored in a box under my table saw. On occasion, I clamp the piece being cut to the front of my sled.
