Sounds dumb but I don't plan on doing any crown, not to say I never will but was planning on getting them for attaching home made extensions for infeed and outfeed to both the Kapex and MFT/3 as per other posts. What other uses could they have other than extending the Kapex a bit? Opinions?

I rarely have to cut crown moulding, and I have the crown extensions as part of the oldstyle extensions.

The grooves that hold the crownstops also accept the railclamps so you can use them as additional hold-down clamps.
The crownstops are also handy to guide flimsy/ small stock against the fence.
I once had to mitre a lot of very small profiles and they came in very handy (About 10 4-panel interior doors to which I had to add bevel edge profiles around each panel, on both sides)

+1.  i rarely do crown molding, but the extensions are a useful addition, just a bit $$ for what they are.
