Crown Moulding Pricing

Hi all,
I am trying to come up with pricing for some 8 inch crown and top and bottom backer (paint grade). I don't normally run any thing this wide. Any clue how much I should charge? My normal price calculator puts the crown at 2.25 a foot but that seems way to low for such a wide crown. The backers come out to 1.35 a ft each.

My pricing for that crown would be between $4 -5.00 per lf, per piece, or $12 - 15.00 for the package.  Maybe a bit less for a couple of my favorite GC's.

Obviously we need to take into account whether we're running alot of straight runs or lots of corners;  also expected job conditions; did the framers leave some backing, are the walls and ceilings even remotely plumb and level, etc.  hence my note about favorite GC's.

Prefinished crown starts at $7.50 per lf.

I am not installing it just milling it.  I run a mix of arched and strait molding and just figure time and materials but that just seemed too low for this stuff.  I am thinking in the ballpark of $5 for the crown and maybe $10 for the package??
