crown stops for Kapex

hello all,
I wanted to know if there were any plans to redesign the crown stops to be able to accept the UG Extensions?  I have a lot of new contractors looking at this tool and that accessory but they are shying away from the stops because of that issue.  I am sure this topic has been addressed before but i'm new to the Festool family and this board(i'm going with that excuse for now till I get more familiar) so if there is a thread for this, l can someone point me in the right direction...  Thanks

If they're not, they should be. It plays with my head that there's not even a symmetrical pair today. [huh]

LoL. Cus Europe hardly use crown stops.  So festool clearly don't see the need for it.  It's only you lot across the pond who really use this crown stop feature.

That stopped me from buying the cart until a few months ago, but the convenience of mobility and accurate repetitive stops changed my mind. Now I just use the scrap 1x4 and clamps method and it works out just fine. Unfortunately the side extension and crown stops were an investment made in vain now. Talking with my local rep a couple months ago and there was no plan to adapt any changes.

strangly jmb. i thought the same.
i was at a festool demo last week and 4 had kapexs (or kapexi) and all used the crown stops regularly. on man even bought a kapex and the crown stops.

i also showed the demo guy the way that the ug stand wings can go on backwards to do the same thing. he loved it

i dont know of any changes but they should. it wouldnt be that hard to do, just put a v groove on the end of them.
