CSX Drill battery - does the new battery fit the old drill?

I have the BP-XS battery which is shaped like a hockey stick and is 1.3 Ah.  I've been looking for a replacement battery and couldnt find it.  I did find a 2.6 AH battery that looks similar except the handle of the hockey stick is missing.  Is this the replacement?  if so, does it fit the old charger?
