My website is now updated with the October offerings and I am accepting early orders for the new CT 26, CT 36, and related items.

The Dust Extractors, their accessories, and the various packages can be accessed two ways on the Tool Home website...

The first is to go to the "COMING SOON!" category. The October offerings are listed there. Picking in the magenta header will cause it to sort by name or price.

The second way to access these new offerings is to use the traditional sorting mechanisms. You can go to the "Manufacturers" menu and pick "Festool". There will be a drop-down box at the top of the page, which will allow you to filter by category within the Festool offerings. You can also pick the category straight out of the "Categories" menu on the left.  Most new stuff is in "Power Tools" - "Dust Extractors" or "Power Tools" - "Dust Extractor Accessories". When in a particular category, you can also filter by manufacturer using a drop-down box at the top middle.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can be of assistance...

Kind regards,

Tom

Tom, I've got a question.  For those of us that already have the boom arm will we only need to get the new handle?  In other words, will the old boom fit the new handle?

I think so, Brice. I haven't been able to get enough detail yet to say for certain. The odd thing, if it's true that the existing booms work with the new gear, is that we only got a SKU for the Boom Arm Kit?

I looked on the GB website trying to figure it out but couldn't find the requisite detail there either.

I tried to ask Rick Bush but his phone is busy most of the time. I think he'd know definitively and I'm still trying to get through to him. I'll try again Monday.

Tom

EDIT: Maybe one of our brethren from across the pond can pontificate on this?

There is a bracket that will be needed for those who already have the boom arm.

496780 CT Boom Arm Support Bracket for CT 26/36

$31.00

I assume this support bracket is needed in addition to the new handle, is that correct?  If so, we're looking at the handle $74.50 plus the bracket at $31 = $105.50.

It's less than a month until the shipping date on the new CT 26, CT 36, and their accessories!

In fact, they will ship 4 weeks from tomorrow.

Several people have pre-ordered and some are getting packages, which is always a good idea if you have any tools you are wanting. A tool plus a CT equals 10% off the CT.

Also, if you want the tool now, just let me know and you can have it now.

Do you know if Rear mount accessory storage #496373 is part of CT26/36 handle as it was with CT-22 handle, or it's separate part?

Thank you,
Victor

Victor, the handle for the 26/36 has space for four accessories. However, the rear mount accessory storage added additional storage. If you're considering it, the three piece top & rear storage is the best bang for the buck.

Note: you can not use the rear-mount accessory storage (496373) and handle together. They use the same mounting holes.

Thanks, Shane.

I will use Oneida DD. If you can offer systeiner with side door for using somewhere in between vac and DD it would be great.  [smile]

P.S. Could you please add systeiner, Cleantec. Cleantex, Rotex.Kapex and Carvex  into dictionary?

Thanks
VictorL

I added all of these with the exception of "systeiner" which is misspelled.  Can't help you with a trap door on the side of the CT.  [tongue]

Victor,

You might want to consider either a 4-Drawer Sortainer or a Drawer Systainer IV to place between your extractor and your DD.  Currently I have the Festool 4-Drawer Sortainer between my extractor and my cyclone, and have the other Drawer Systainer IV on order that I will use instead since it has an additional large drawer.  The brushes, nozzles and crevice tools will fit in these large drawers.
