ct 26 not working

I have a CT 26 that is 9 1/2 years old. Today it turned off while using it with a dust deputy. It started intermittently when the hose clogged. it would stop and before it sped all the way down it would start again. Now nothing in auto mode or manual. The voltage is good at the terminals and switch works. When I feed 120 directly to motor it runs as it should.
Is anyone familiar how the high level sensor works. That is when you use it to suck up water. I have used this vac to suck up water when draining the hot tub and what happened today was very similar. Just wondering if a sensor is defective.

Have you looked at your filters to see if they are clogged?  My CT22 similarly would stop working for no apparent reason and after replacing the outlet and switch which did not correct the problem, I cleaned the filters with compressed air (because the replacement parts are outrageous) and the unit now works flawlessly in both manual and auto modes.  Worth a try...
