To Shane (or anybody else that could answer this question)

Looking at the Festoolusa.com the website does not allow one to view the accessories for the new vac - one is lead to a page with "no matches found"
While one is able to see the accessories when clicking on the mini or midi vacs.

My particular question is the 20 unit vac bag option. I see the 5 bag option - Item Number: 496186.
(on other sites - not Festoolusa)

I'm just not seeing the 20 bag option.  [eek] (not seeing it on other dealers websites as well)

Is it available? (as it is for the CT-33, Item #: 494632)

If so what is the Festool Item number?

hmm, while I'm on the subject is the 20 pak option available for the Midi? (not seeing that either) [huh]

all the best,
Roger

.

Roger,

As of now the 20 packs are not yet available for the new Vacs, Mini's or Midi's.

Bob

Bob,

Thanks for your reply.

My major concern is for the new CT-36.
If they are not available yet, does that mean that they are soon to be?
As is for the CT-33.

If one is going through a quantity of bags that could be a major point.

Also if Festool is not going to offer the 20 bag option for the CT-36, does that mean that they are going to discontinue the option for the CT-33?

Roger

Roger,

I don't know of any plans to offer any other quantities of bags for the 26/36, but that could change. As for the 22/33, I know of no plans to discontinue any of the accessories, including the 20-pack of bags.

Something that's easily overlooked is that the 26 offers 18% more capacity than the 22 and the 36 offers 9% more capacity than the 33.

We'd still all like to see that video of you running that big ol' bit with the OF 2200. Any plans to post that up?

Shane

Edit: I corrected the issue with the website not showing the CT 26/36 accessories.

Shane,

Thanks for the reply.

Regarding the 2200, "mother of all bits" footage,
after the next few weeks I'll do the editing I need to do and post the various angles and set ups.
(at the moment I'm a bit pressed to finish a rebuild and roof of a section of my house before the rains come - the major reason for my conspicuous absence from the forums.)

On that note, the CT-33 with 2- 50 mm - 4 meter hoses doubled up has proved most valuable for construction debris pick up.

cheers,
roger
