CT Bluetooth causes tool socket to quit

Hi, new here and looking for some weekend wisdom since Festool is closed.

I just received a new Bluetooth module for my CT26 and after installing it - my tool triggered socket doesn't work.  The remote switching works great ; but now tools won't activate the vac in auto mode.

Any ideas or suggestions ?  I've tried re- pairing the module.

I would try removing the bluetooth and seeing if that resolved the issue (then reinstall).

Tried that too.

My guess is that my socket has just decided to give up the ghost at the same moment I added the BT module.

Turn the switch from auto to off and then to on.  I have had mine ‘lose state’ if I turn on Bluetooth and try to turn on and then off with the tool.  I just rotated the switch to off, on and back to auto and it worked again.

So just following up on this.  I know it's been ages since my orig. question.

Turns out that the actual socket was to blame.  It just happened that decided to give up the ghost at the exact same moment I installed the bluetooth module.  From a search here , it seems that at least one other person has needed a socket replacement.
