CT hose question

This may be a question for some of the dealers, and I might be posting in the wrong spot.  I know certain dealers allow you to pay the difference if you want a different rail when you buy a TS.  I was wondering if the same would work, if you bought a new vac and wanted the D36 hose?  I have a CT26, but was thinking about adding a mini or midi.

Thanks guys

Bryan, my guess would be no. The rails are packaged for retail sale in a separate box from the saw. If a dealer swaps rails, they can easily still sell the original rail. The hose with the CTis not in retail packaging and wouldn't be as easy to resale.

Bryan,

If you want, give us a call, 1 800 516 TOOL(8665).  We can work something out if you like.

I see you are in NJ, you can also stop in anytime you like.  We are in Paramus.

Shane and Ken,

Thank you for your responses.  Ken, I know where you guys are, I was at the event you had several months ago.  I will reach out to you before I head up, may not be for a few weeks, I am about to start my shop renovation.

Glad to hear you are renovating your shop.  Only for good reasons I hope.

Definitely give us a call a week or so before you come by so we can make sure to have the right vacuum and hose in stock for you.

Just a heads up, the Father's Day show is coming up also, I hope you will visit us again for that.

I did not see this post until this moment, so I am late to the respnse, but  I have and do swap the hoses on request.

[thumbs up]

I'm one of them.

When I bought my CT-26 from Bob, I asked if I could substitute a 36 mm for the 27 mm (paying the difference).

He said yes.
