CT midi cuts out when moved

Hello

Having a problem with the CT midi, it starts okay, then cuts out, I made a short experiment where I turned it on without moving it. It ran okay for a minute or so, then when I moved it it cut out immediately. The vac has given good serivce over a few years, it's had one over two falls from at approx 70cm otherwise very little abuse. Not used anywhere heavily year in year out.

My thinking that if it costs at 40%-50% of a new unit to get it fixed I may as well save the shipping and waiting time and get a new unit. On the otherhand if it's something like a loose wire or a switch that a user can change, then I'd of course prefer to do that.

Any thoughts and advice would be a great help..

Thanks

It's easy to check the power cord and wiring connections by taking the front panel off.  Look for loose, stressed, or cracked wires. It is also pretty easy to replace the power cord in case that is the problem.

Hej @SRSemensza  [member=5277]Alex[/member].

The problem is found and fixed. Cable had after a few years had beome worn at the cables  entrance to the vacs retaining clamp. I cut off  30 cm of cord and reconnected the wires at the panel. Easy to do.

Thanks for the help
