CT MIDI receptacle failure

I have a 10 year old CT33 and a 4 year old CT MIDI.  The receptacle on the CT33 failed about 9 years ago and I paid Festool a crapload to buy a new one.  Fast forward to today when my sander kept dropping out while plugged into the MIDI.  Yep, Festool continues to put that POS receptacle in their vacuums.  I wonder how much the $10 receptacle cost today?

The two receptacles are not the same.  The original style was replaced with a double wash type and that is used in the newer models.

You can remove your receptacle and adjust the washes (what put pressure on the prongs).
