I went to work on the baby bed after work.  I was sanding and noticed that the vac (CT22) was not running.  I tried turning on so I was not relying on the plug to switch it.  Does anyone have any ideas of what to look for until I can call service tomorrow?

[size=13pt]I am assuming it is not running neither on manual nor auto.

Based on my similar experience, it is most likely the motor bushes. Try giving the vac a firm bump, this may give you another hour or so. But do not count on it; just a tip my dealer told me when I brought my CT 22 in for repair.

Even if the bump works, obviously contact Festool.

No it does not work in either mode.  I will try the bump.

Is your bag full?  I had trouble once when the weather was very hot and i was working for a while, it turned out the motor went into thermal protect.  These are 2 things that it COULD be.  Hopefully it's simple

I had not worked for very long but it is hotter than H_ _ L.  It did fire back up after dinner so that could have been the issue.  We'll see what happens from here.

Also make sure your hose isn't clogged.....  It will shut off after a period of time if the hose is clogged.

It was just overheated. It has been between 110-114 degrees here so I assume it shut off due to the heat.
