It would be nice to have the wings available before the year end holidays here in the US. My girlfriend likes to buy me a small Festool gift each year and this would be in the right price range. Maybe others here have the same situation.

Shane, could you please explain what is involved with making this product (or any) available in North America? I'm just curious. With power tools I imagine there is a fair amount of red tape, plus all the work in packaging and distribution. This seems a simpler product, but I honestly have no idea what is involved. Thanks!

Honestly, I'm not involved in that part of the business, so I don't have an extensive knowledge of the processes involved. But, for tools, I think the biggest hurdle is UL/CSA approval.

For something like the CT Wings, I don't think there are any special requirements.
