CT15 vs CT36E vs Makita 4210L

Thanks. Went with ct36E for about $40 more than the CT MIDI I. The the 36mm is next on my list along with a sander. Now which sander... I'm not sure.
The 36 is a stellar extractor, I've had one hooked up to my main CNC machine around 13 or so years now!

I have no doubt throwaway bags would be more ideal, but for my usage 12+ years of multiple long life bag extractors hooked up to CNC's, sanders, drum sander, etc prove they work just fine.
Sorry to be rude, but they do not. They prove only that you are happy with the results in your specific scenario/environment.

The long life bags do not catch micro-particles from fine sanding. And it is not a failure, they are simply not designed to do that.

This at the scenario where ability to reliably catch those micro-particles is like 1/2+ the reason of choosing a Festool vac for a hobby user. In the hobby market, one buys Festool vacs for the bags, not the bags for the vacs, roughly speaking.
