Hi all.  Was wondering if anyone has run across a problem similar to what I am experiencing, namely the CT22 can power my TS75 when it is plugged into the onboard outlet, but the vacuum itself will not turn on (when in Auto mode).

My dust bag is not full and the air filters are spotless.  Any thoughts?

The vacuum will not turn on in Manual mode, unless  I hit the front of the vacuum with my palm.  Then the vacuum will turn on for about 5 seconds and then turn off.  The CT22 is less than 2 years old.

Thanks for your help.

You're supposed to hit the vac to get it started, that's perfectly normal. ;) No, I'm just kidding. I'd call your dealer or Festool service.

Is your vac on an extension cord?  How many Amps is the outlet you are using?  I've never had any issues with my 22 and TS75, but I use a 20A circuit.  You might be drawing too many Amps and your circuit can't handle it.
