I am very satisfied with it. It is somewhat more powerful than my old shopvac, yet I can vacuum without putting hearing protection on.
Sadly, my wife doesn't see it that way. First time I used it downstairs when she was home she raced downstairs and demanded to know what that horrible noise was. I turned off the CT22E and the horrible noise stopped. She insists the whole house is permeated with a very high frequency noise that is unbearable. I don't have the faintest idea what she is talking about; to me it is as quiet as promised. To satisfy her, it is for sale; but possibly women shouldn't buy it. (My dog doesn't seem at all disturbed; but then she is rather less critical in general then my wife.)
Sadly, there is no hose included in the $250, but how good a bargain do you want? And, a local pick up would be awfully nice. Freight to 90210, hopefully a worst case scenario, is $38.
Has anyone had this problem? Maybe it is some odd interaction with my Oneida Dust Deputy that didn't occur with the shop vac?
