Ct26 problem

Hello I have a ct26 dust extractor/vacume and while using it for about 10minutes it shut off on me, won't start back up. When I turn switch to manual it starts to go but immediately shuts off, won't do anything on auto with tool attached, I had this problem a few months ago but managed to get it working with taking cover off where the motor is and putting back on. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Could be thermal protection shutdown, possibly it dosn't get enough air for cooling the motor (AFAIK it uses external air for this, pulled in through an extra opening and not through the hose). Thermal protection should reset after cooling down, so it working again after some hours would be an indication for that theory.

In case it's still in warranty: send it in for service, noting (on a sheet of paper taped to the machine, so the tech will see it) that the problem only comes up after having it run for some time (and, in case the above holds, vanishes after cooling down).
