Chance to buy an unused CT33 for $499 + tax = $532, with a slightly used 150-5 for $299 + tax= $311, total $843.

Or, new CT26 + new 150/5 for $828 total. Dealer really pushing CT33. Confused.

Are the CT26's being discontinued ?

No, the CT 26 is not being discontinued or changed/updated.

The CT 33 was discontinued in 2011.

Deciding which is a better buy is subjective. Personally, I would want the newer model, the CT 26, of the two.

Also, if you're buying a demo ETS 150/5, it will not have a warranty.

I also think the CT 26 is a better deal. I was under the impression that the sander would have a one year warranty.

Dealer demo tools, no warranty. Our reconditioned tools, one year warranty. New tools, 3 year warranty.
