Ct48 and boom arm

I pickup up a used book arm. Ordered the needed handle for my ct48, got that installed no issues but when I try and put the boom arm on it hits the cord wrap. Do I have to remove the cord wrap for things to line up properly? Is there another place to mount the cord wrap? The boom arm didn’t come with instructions so I’m guessing on it but it seems pretty obvious.

Also, the boom arm didn’t come with the outriggers I’ve seen in pictures, are they required? It doesn’t seem tippy so far...

Had to remove the cord wrap from my CT 36, guessing you will need to do so on the 48. I wrap the cord around the handle as needed. The cord wrap I put on a Midi, works great.

Pretty sure almost no one ever uses the outriggers, I didn't. They take up a lot of room and make moving the CT difficult.

YMMV.
