CTL MIDI L vs. M?

Sorry for asking the maybe obvious.  It this is about the new (Bluetooth MIDI) Maybe some can explain what’s the true difference between the 2 vac’s? Is this only certification? Since as far as I can see the filter and filter-bag that go in the vac are both same. Also the suction power is same.

I get the feeling that the ‘only’ difference is the signal/warning the M send when it’s full?
