I've been using my CTL midi for several years now, I believe its from 2014. 99% of the time its attached to either my plunge saw or mitre saw so not much wear at all.
I have also used it a few times for wet vacuum (after a leak, for instance) using the Festool 456805 Filter and obviously without the bag in it. Works great! [laughing]
However, yesterday I was sucking some more water at a time (on old washing machine had leaked..) and I noticed water coming out of the side exhausts on the machine. That means the water went straight through the filter and motor [scared]. No shutoffs, the container was not even half full but I do know that the water tends to foam up from sucking mixed air and water.
Any of you have similar expererience or know how to prevent this? The machine is drying at the moment, but it had run fine all the time.
