Not to hijack your project/thread, I finished my current remodel project on Thursday, the skirting boards were painted by me with F&B Modern Eggshell "Pointing 2003" on Wednesday night & installed Thursday morning. Matching one of the wallpaper's (Five Over Stripe) colors ... However, I don't brush, I roll. Using the (old) Friess MagicCrater/MagicFinish rolls.

Love F&B. Looking forward to utilizing their new "Dead Flat" when the chance comes.

Wow!  Thank you for the entertaining and detailed narrative.  You must've spent hours building the bed in your mind before you put a tool to the wood, your thoughtfulness comes shining through!
