Hi.
Some time ago I put my CTL26 in the attic and drew the air through quite long hoses via a Dust Deputy. I didn't know how it was going to work, but I'm glad to report success.
Don't hesitate if you're thinking about this. I don't have a vacuum meter that can cope with this kind of negative air preasure. But I did a simple non scientific test but lifting a pivoting board with the nozzle of the hose. I gradually moved the suction point away from the pivoting point, i.e. increased the needed lifting force. I couldn't see any difference between direct connection to the CTL vs connecting through longer hoses and Dust Deputy.
The DD performs really well. I made an air tight box and put it on the wall. By making the box triangular it doesn't take much of my precious shop space.
The box without lid and the DD mounted on top

The dust bag from the dust box.

The amount of dust in the CTL is very little. This was a test without a bag, but I will use a bag from now on so the filter won't clogg.
