I just finished this teak bench for client, used domino's from 500 and 700 machine.

Camera was my tablet, not very clear, need to take some more pics.

Added some pics after I  installed columns and beams.

That is a fantastic looking bench.  If you don't mind me asking, how much did you spend on the teak?

The Teak was around $3,000., it's like around $24 a board ft before taxes.

Fantastic work.  [thumbs up]
I worked with teak year ago. I like to remember it. Are you the author of the design?

Nice design and very nice execution! [thumbs up]

Was anything steam bent or was it all cut from flat stock?

Did you put any finish on it?

Feel free to talk about the construction details...I'm all ears [poke]

Superb design and well executed!

I was wondering if you might have built it to custom fit a special place like in front of a curved wall?

And please give us more details!  Thanks for sharing.

Yes, my design, client wanted a curved bench with horizontal back, I came up with this design, client approved it.

All cut from flat stock, finish is teak oil, I will show some construction pics when I have more time.

Yes, it fits into a whole pergola project, I have cast stone columns that  this sits in front of or between. I have constructed the pergola with posts and beams, the back columns are closer together than front columns, like a trapezoid.

I am waiting for cast stone columns to put around posts.

Nice bench. Well executed.
Glad to see somebody else in the Napa Valley using Festool.
Thanks for sharing

Thanks,  most people don't recognize them, but the ones that do know they are quality. Great tools, except I think the Carvex has some problems.

Outstanding work.  That 's going to be fun transporting it over to its eventual home.

Very nice! I used to love working with teak but it has gotten so expensive that I am now stuck using iroko. Nothing as nice as your bench, though.

It breaks down, the back section unbolts, and I can remove the legs if I want also.

Did you use stainless bolts? Is this for a residence or a winery? I'm a little further south near San rafael would love to see it in person if it is for a public space.
