Custom Picture Frame

I recently completed this frame for my 3 sons canvases when they were younger. Red oak material with provincial stain. Frame is just over 7' long. Don't mind the crown molding at top, recently installed have not painted yet.

I like the look of it.  The side view shows how substantial they are.  Nicely done.  I'm not crazy about Red Oak, but that stain looks great (and makes me want a baguette 'n' wine).

The frame actually started out as 3 seperate frames (just the embossed crown). I had some leftover oak and needed to use up. Put this together and finished in a weekend.

I think if my wife and I ever seperated this picture frame with the canvases would be the "fight of the century".
