Cutlery tray

This is a little project I did last year.
Made from Padouk with a Baltic birch bottom. Slots are cut just with the Kapex with depth setting. All held together with Titebond II. The plywood bottom has a black felt lining and is nailed on the tray. The tray has a hand rubbed finish of boiled linseed oil and paraffin oil.
The tray is slightly undersized. This is done on purpose as we might switch the cutlery to another drawer in which the tray will fit then too.

Very nice, did you make the wooden spoons too? I have heard that spoon-making is popular in Scandinavia.
