I needed to cut a stack of panels 60"x30". Not wanting to measure every one, I came up with the following.

I ripped the sheets with a non Festool parallel guide that has a larger capacity. A Kapex left side extension sets my 60" length, and switching out the 1080 rail for a 1400 gives enough cross cut capacity. Problem there is I lose the front key and my cuts go out of square. Solved by using the Festool parallel guide pulled very tight to sheet with a double check from a standard framing square. Once the cut is started, the blade in kerf stops the track from shifting. Check after cut shows I'm within my tolerance on squareness.
The only other option I could come up with was to use dogs in the back holes of the mft and rail dogs for the crosscut. Anybody here have methods for cutting big pieces on an mft??
*excuse shop mess in background of picture, shops been super busy for a while and haven't had time to do a good between projects purge.
