Cutting board for Xmas gifts

Here are three edge grain cutting boards that I made for some of my family this year.  I made them out of oak and jatoba, and maple for the dominos.  I was planning on using the standards dominos but my first hole was done with my domino in the middle position giving me no choice but to make my own dominos. Making my own dominos went faster then expected and ended up very tight. I finished them of with two thick coats of mineral oil, and one beeswax/ mineral mix.

I really like it, i like seeing the through dominos in the work piece. well done.

I wonder how the end pieces will endure over time, as the other parts shrink and swell? Please let us know if there are any issues, as I'd love to copy your design if it's not an issue...

Wow will let u know how it holds up, I gave them to family so I will be able to keep a eye on them. I am hoping the through domino And titebond 3 will hold strong ! If ur worried u could always mortise it in or spline it like these.then put the domino in for the look. These are just pic I found online.
