I was busy taking my router table apart today when I noticed I did not have a screwdriver long enough to reach a screw under my table. I installed my dust bucket and then built drawers next to it so I no longer had easy access.
After a few seconds thinking about it I pulled out my CXS and all of my attachments and came up with this. Worked great and I was able to take everything else apart without a problem.

Great idea and execution! I will have to use that as I have had the same issue come up before.

Agreed, mine has gotten me out of a lot of tricky situations. It sits up high in my shopmade Sysport row.

I would love to own a CXS.  I have too many drills, impacts, and drivers to really justify investing into festool battery tools but still really want the CXS as the ergonomics look amazing. Since I own M12 tools I have been really looking hard at the Milwaukee Installation drill/driver which is basically their copy of the CXS.  But I know deep down inside that the Festool would be so much nicer.

I'm heavily invested in Milwaukee 12 and 18v systems and have the installers set I find the Festool drills so smooth.

I tried really hard to like the milwaukee. I owned one for a few weeks and ended up returning it. I then tried the Bosch Flexiclik and gave that a good try.
I returned that as well and bought the CXS and TXS and never looked back.

The CXS has its own battery form factor. Not compatible with other FT battery tools.  I don’t even think you can buy it without the charger / batteries.
