Cyclone Central 50mm Cyclone - Video

I have recently made a two part video showing how to put together the Cyclone Central 50mm cyclone. I also show how to make a drop box out of 3/4" MDF and install a pressure relief valve.

The cyclone kit was provided to me free of charge by Cyclone Central and the completed cyclone and drop box are being donated to a local project to help unemployed youngsters learn a craft.

Do you feel the need for any extra support for the infeed hose or is the cyclone itself sturdy enough?

I think as long as you apply several layers of glue to ensure  a good bond then there is no need for any additional support. I suspect that the one that I have built will come under a lot of stress and strain with all the youngsters using it but if it gets damaged then another application of the glue would, I am sure, sort it out. There was a generous amount of the special glue supplied.
