Recently Harbor Freight had the Daytona floor jacks on sale for 40% off. I picked up the Super-Duty model. I replaced my old Craftsman floor jack with it. The new one has about 2” more lift but I was very surprised that the HF is a monster compared to the Craftsman and it weighs 104#’s yet they both have the same lift weight capacity - 3-tons.[attachimg=1]

I have the same model, but in Sunburst Orange. Although, I didn't get it on that awesome 40% off single day deal. I think mine was 30% off or so. Awesome jack. For anyone who doesn't know, it's made in the same factory as the $900 Snap-On jack.

I’ve had a BIG RED T84030 Torin 3 Ton Low Profile Aluminum Racing Jack for about a decade now. Works great, but at 75 lbs it’s too heavy for me to get it out and set it up.

I’ve now got a 2-ton pneumatic jack that I really like. Due to the rubber, I’m sure it won’t last as long. Since I use jack stands to hold the car once lifted, it’s safe for me.

Anyone near San Jose CA want to buy a 3-ton “lightweight” jack cheap?

Project Farm has a great video on floor jacks. He has also one on jackstands.
I recall Todd saying that SnapOn is best, but also the most costly.

I have that same Daytona but I bought neon green in honor of my Festool addiction, brutally heavy monster
