DD-DC DOES NOT WORK ON T15+3

Hello,

I received a DD-DC depth stop with the T15+3 drill but when I attach the stop there is no drive connection between the two.  I've scoured this listserve and the manuals that came with the tool but I haven't been able to figure anything out. 

As far as I can tell, the driveshaft inside the stop simply isn't long enough to engage the output shaft on the drill.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The driveshaft only engages when you push against the screw.

To back a screw back out, you have to twist the green ring (and keep it twisted) and then you can back a screw out.
the DD-DC is designed that way on purpose.

If you are looking for a depth-stop, I would suggest the DC-UNI FF

Which should eliminate the „impressions“ you might get from the other one and in my opinion is the better depth stop.

Thanks for the explanation, wpz.  I should have guessed there are many Festool you tubes out there, I'll be looking to those first for other questions in the future.

Would you have done that for this question I wouldn't have learned about the DC-UNI-FF.
