For use on-site, I own 3 MFT/3. One is the complete Set and the other 2 are the Basic.

When making the long cuts with the parallel guide set the 2 Basic MFT/3 provide excellent support.

Then when making the shorter cuts using the guide rail of the MFT3 Set, those extra MFT serve as in and out-feed support.

  I believe it was RMW that came up with something made up of  80/20.

I don't remember the post, sorry.  But he made them the same height as the MFT.

I personally use the basic roller stand.  Plain and simple.  I have one for the left side and one for the right side.  Sometimes I have to move them in or out from

the MFT,  but it's working for me now.

Adjustable height and the top tilts a couple of degrees so the work piece can easily slide onto it. Folds up easy and can be stored.

I use the extensions I made for my Kapex.  You could easily fabricate something to attach to the MFT angles on the sides, or do as I did and use the crown stop wings to create some.

Legs are adjustable for the Kapex or the MFT/3.  Would also work on the CMS router table.

I went to your blog and checked out your info.

Was that guy with the Booklyn accent  you saw using the guide rails Joe Fusco ( R.I.P.)?

He was a internet bud of mine.  We chatted and got to know each other over a about 3-4 years. Even called each other a few imes.

He talked me into drinking the green kool aid too.

Funny about remodeling the house,Thats what I did, with out festools.  Im planning on selling mines and buy another fixer.

Now I'll remodel it and sancho-ize it with festools. Im actually excited about the prospect now.

Make a worktable with an MFT top at the same height.

I use either my CT33 with a combination of systainers, or just a combination of systainers.
