Delta 18-900L drill press on sale

Not sure where those specs above came from, but the 2800b does not go under 400 rpm.  I know few people that own the unit, and while it is very nice unquestionable, Im personally looking for the delta 18-900 if anyone sees a really good deal again.  Main reason is delta I believe can go down to 170, this allows to do metal work as well.
I had to reaffirm, the owners manual does state it goes down to 250, I just know Ive seen alot of issues getting under 400, and people use tachometers where showing little higher than stated.  Anyway If there is any super sales going on like those 20% off either one, by all means post it, thanks in advance.
Currently Deltas are 999 across the board, I can get my 10% military at best so far at Lowes, not seeing the 2800b give anywhere under the 1399.00.

Are you are referring to the quote I made from Fine Woodworking's review of the PM2800b?

"Speed changes are a breeze, with no belt changes needed. You just crank a handwheel to go from 250 to 3,000 rpm"

But in the manual on page 6 for the PM2800b which is available on their website it also says 250 to 3000 RPM. I tend to believe they know what speeds their tool can go operate at.http://content.powermatic.com/assets/manuals/1792800B_man_EN.pdf

. What Metal Working are you thinking of with drill presses like these?
Light drilling is all I would rate them capable of.

Is it 92mm by any chance I wonder.

Curious if the column is the same OD as any other brands which allow the table to be used on them.

Of secondary importance is the OD of the post on the table itself which attaches the table to the arm.

Both measurements in mm would be best.

Good news and bad news.  I have this drill press but am away for the moment.  If someone else hasn't helped out by then, I'll be able to answer your query this weekend.

I found what I was looking for on Deltas' website.

It says in the specs the column is 80mm in diameter.

I was hoping for 92mm. [sad]
