Hello. I noticed a post from 2008 which had limited feedback on the comparable performance of the 2 machines. I would be grateful for any opinions as to the relative merits of the 2 machines. Thanks.

I did a review of the DTS400 a few months ago and I really think it is a gem of a sander - more of a finish sander.  While I do not have a Deltex, I think that it is capable of aggressive sanding.  Both will allow you to get into corners.  What types of things do you need it for? That will help guide the discussion. In my case I did not need an aggressive sander (although the DTS can be with the right paper) so I opted for the DTS...I like it very much and it performs well.

If you're looking at either of those machines, then you may want to consider the RO90. This combines the best features of both those two, plus a bit extra.
