Amazon and CPO Outlets have a good deal on the Dewalt 735 planer for $450. This is the package with the planer, the two table extensions and an extra set of blades. IT's usually around 550 to 600. Both have free shipping.

Obviously, I can't give personal experience here as my Shelix should be delivered tomorrow. But there doesn't seem like much of a cost savings - maybe eight dollars?
