Dewalt D26204 Router (same as the 611)

Hi Everyone

I needed the Dewalt 611 for the next lot of video work with my X-Carve small CNC machine but they are not sold under that model number in the UK. Dewalt UK stepped in and provided me with the D26204 which I think is the same router as the 611 (but 220-240v) as it fits perfectly in the X-Carve fitting for the 611.

So it seemed silly to just go straight ahead and fit the router in the CNC without first making a video about it.

We we talking about this in an other thread and I do think you may be right, it sure looks like my 611.

But in the UK I do see dead links where a 611 was discontinued so maybe they changed the 611 a bit?

It looks the same as my 611.  I quickly checked the specs and everything matches up with the exception of the plunge.  the 611 is listed as a 1.5" plunge where as the 2604 is listed at 55mm (a little over 2").

The key thing for me is that it fits in the X-Carve fixture that Inventables designed for the 611.
