Hi people
I'm looking at getting some new saw horses. I'm fed up of buying plastic or even the stanley fat max metal and plastic (heavy duty) as they don't last the test of time.  Does anybody have them and are they worth the money. Also does anybody know the working height( as I try to keep everything the same height as my mft , cams and kapex). Hope you can help.  Thanks Luke

Here in the States, the Dewalts are the same as the old Fat Max, but with steel instead of aluminum, making them a heavy PITA.  I wish they still made the old aluminum ones!  I usually put one side at 36 and the other 35 to plane out with my MFT.

I just bought a Dewalt 725 to extend my MFT with a Fes style top I made and it is great, I'm going to buy another.  The setup height is around 32 1/2" and is 36" wide.  I have three sets of the Dewalt Dwst 11031s  but they are only 28" wide and are not as stable.

I have the DeWalt Saw horse and like them a lot. BUT a co worker has the worst luck with these. We had them set up with a couple 2x4s on them and when someone (ME) sat on the 2x's an internal part on the sawhorse snapped! So he went and bought 2 more, those later snapped. Under the top rail of the sawhorse is all plastic. So regardless of how ridged the legs are the top is poorly designed.
