Some one knows if the DF 500 can be used on "Trespa, Formica, HPL, phenolic plate"?

Don't know the official answer but since the cutter tips are carbide I'd give it a try. Just experiment to find the right plunge speed (slower than for wood).

I’ve plunged into end grain Ipe so I think the 500 can cut almost any material. It’s wise to listen to the machine. If it sounds like it is laboring, slow the plunge. It’s also wise to let the cutter kiss the surface lightly at the beginning of the cut.to fast a start and you can snap off the cutter tip.

Yes, the DOMINO DF 500 can cut these materials. However, there are two caveats:

1. Speed - Slow feed rate to avoid chipping of the material and/or damaging of the cutter
2. Due to the material, expect shorter than normal cutter life - dulling will likely quicker than with wood materials
