I got the xl a little while back, before the discount  >:( and just today got the systainer full of 8 and 10mm dominos (and the cutters).
I went to put the 8 and 10mm cutters in the df 700's systainer, in their respective slots, and they don't fit. They both want to fall right out as soon as the lid is closed.
I noticed that the 12mm that comes with the xl has a nice cap, and that is what holds it snugly in its slot.
What am I missing or doing wrong?

I'm guessing that is the orientation that works?
I was going cutter up, because that is how the 12mm was oriented when bought, and was a bit of a bugger to get loose to start.
I guess I'll try cutter down now and see how it goes.

I never use those slots. I just leave the cutters in the spiral cases and put them in the bottom of the 700 case. I also have my domi-shims, adapters and other 700 accessories in there. Really a lot of room in that sys.

Yep. All I had to do is just look at the damned diagram of the cutters facing down, right where you insert the cutters.
File that under "DUH, DOY".
Next question, does that foam hold up?
