I've noticed that the depth adjust lever on my DF500 has become difficult to adjust. It's easy to slide up, down, and forward but pushing it back into the lock position has become difficult, especially in the 25 and 28mm settings.
In the shallower settings, the lock lever assists in seating the lever towards the back. In the 25 and 28 settings, the lever kinda gets stuck under the lock lever and I have to pinch it to move it back.
Is this by design or did I possibly lose a spring, other mechanism, to push the lever back into the locked position? If by design, is it ok to hit it with a bit of dry lubricant? I didn't see any mention of it in the manual's troubleshooting section.
Thank you!
