Purple AND orange? I don't want thousands of dollars worth of tools to the wall to look like baby vomit  [eek]

So, I was going to start a topic on this but maybe I'll just do it in this thread.

When I got the email about the re-run of the woodpecker t-rules, I was at first excited because I missed them the first time.

Would like to get ya'lls opinion on them.

I currently have two of the pro-T rules, and thought about replacing them with the t-rules. However, I noticed that the new ones don't have slots for 64th of an inch. Likewise, the metric ones (which I'd also like to get) don't have 1/2 mm slots. Yeah, that's pretty small, but so is 64th, and the pro t-rules do have 64th" slots

So would you consider a set of these a good replacement for the pro t-rules? Also, is there any value in getting the 8" size? Not sure if I'd ever use it....

Wish they had a package deal for like any two or four of the sizes and units options.

Incra make T-rules with 1/64" holes. They are not as solid as the Woodpecker ones, but still useful. I have the 6" Incra t-rule. Much cheaper too.

I bought the "small t-squares" when they first came out then Woodpecker brought out the "saddle T-squares" and I bought those.  By far the saddle t-squares are more useful to me because I can mark a board face & edge at the same setting.  That can't be done with their "small t-square" -- I intend to e-bay my set whenever I get around to it.

I have the 26" Woodpecker square so I'll probably pass on the Bridge City model even though it has the added feature of adjustable angle.

I have the 3" and 6" I like them a lot and use them  a lot.  For me they seem to be a little handier than the saddle Ts. The T is also  only a 1/4" thick so it is often easier to use when the workpiece is not overhanging the bench edge. If the stock is even slightly under 3/4" the Saddle T's will not rest flat unless the piece is overhanging the bench edge. The Saddle Ts drop down 3/4". The Incras  1/2".

I like them better than the Incra rules (granted no 64ths) but .....  easier to read , easier to keep pencil in the hole, and they glide better. I find the thin edge of the Incra rules catches on little rough spots more often.

I think the 8" is too long for the width. I guess the 8" would be good if you don't have the 12". But I would be inclined to get the 3, 6 and then jump to the 12 for these T Squares.

Are those Bridge City tools priced in peso's?  I can't image paying that much in US dollars.

I really like the woodpecker combination inch/metric Saddle T Squares.  I hope they do a run of those again SOON.
