Did the classic style Mini Systainer come in a size 2 version?

I'm pretty sure this has been mentioned on the FOG before.  Can anybody confirm that the classic Mini Systainer came in size 1 and size 2 (limited availability) sizes?  I think it's known as a Gr2 or something.

I have an application where a size 2 Mini would be ideal.  I wish the T-Loc Mini came in a size 2.

Thank you

I did some looking but unfortunately can't answer your question other than to say that you would be hard pressed to find one if they did exist now because most dealers have gotten rid of the classics and in the Tanos catalog for 2014 I only see the T-loc Mini in the smaller size.

Perhaps you might have been thinking about the Midi which is offered in different sizes with at least initially a different offering of sizes here in NA between Festool and Tanos.

Yes it did I own a SYS Mini 2 from Tanos.
Festool didn't have this size.
You can compare the 2 images.
Until now Tanos has no T-Loc Mini 2 and the Classics Minis are hard to get these days.

Thank you both.

Peter - I found the same as you; the 2014 catalogue no longer lists the classic sys mini.

Neeleman - I knew I'd seen it before.  I can't find anywhere that has them.  If anybody stumbles across a Sys Mini 2, let me know. I could do with about 10 of them but 5-10 would also be fine.

My thanks

That picture of the supposed size 2 is just a pic of a size 1, stretched vertically!!! Look at how long & thin the clips are.

Edit: Here it is reduced in height - it's just a size 1:

Yes you're right about that picture. It has been manipulated.
I really have a SYS Mini 2 at home and I'll make a real picture tomorrow.
Here is another picture from the internet.

Here is the real life Mini 2 systainer.
I replaced the Tanos lid and latches with one from a Festool Mini.

Thanks again Neeleman.  Very helpful indeed.

I think I've managed to track down a Sys 2 Mini so I'm going to buy it.

Another helpful subject added to the archive for others to reference to in future.

Thank you

I have both a Festool one and a Tanos dark grey one.
I think they are awesome. They fit just the right amount of stuff.

I am glad they are hard to find - they would be all over the place in my house if they were easy to find. ;)
